The only urgent timer

Crops die when the season changes; almost nothing else expires. So plant the right crop at the right time, then spend the leftover hours on whatever you enjoy.

Spring

Plant Parsnips on Day 1 for fast cash and Farming XP. Save for Strawberry seeds at the Egg Festival (Spring 13) and plant them immediately. Cauliflower and Potatoes are good fillers. Open the Community Center and start the Mines.

Summer

Blueberries are the star — one packet yields multiple berries all season. Spend profits on a backpack upgrade, tool upgrades, a Coop, and your first sprinklers.

Fall

Plant Cranberries (multi-harvest) and Pumpkins. Save toward the Vault's 42,500g. Check the Traveling Cart for Red Cabbage seeds.

Winter

Nothing grows under snow, so live in the Mines: gather ore and bars, upgrade tools, and prepare next year's layout.

Checklist

?FAQ

Why is the season timer the only urgent thing?

Crops die when the season changes; almost nothing else expires — so planting on time is what actually matters.

Can I finish the Community Center in Year 1?

Yes, with focus. The Vault's 42,500g is the main gate, not skill.

What should I do every morning?

Check the TV: the weather forecast (free watering on rain), the fortune teller (luck for the Mines), and Living off the Land tips.
