Each villager area has a trash can that refreshes daily with food, resources, and sometimes unique items (Joja Cola, geodes, coal, etc.). Be careful: if the owner sees you rummaging their can, friendship drops by about 10-25 points.
•Other Free Resources
Seasonal forage (spring onion, leek, daffodil, dandelion), beach shells and supply crates, and Secret Notes from worm spots all cost nothing and add up. Foraging levels also raise a useful skill.
